Fisher’s Creek is shouldered by Fisher Quarry and Smith Quarry, both slated for future redevelopment that will include additional housing and high-end retailers and eateries. Currently, the rugged land surrounding the Fisher’s Creek neighborhood hosts a variety of native wildlife that will the city of Vancouver and developers are committed to protecting as they expand residential and economic opportunities.
A mix of housing styles and lot sizes characterize the Fisher’s Creek area, with older single family homes and several newer subdivisions that feature excellent views and a measure of privacy not found in many higher density neighborhoods. The western portion of Fisher’s Creek was developed in the mid 1990s, and many of the homes along the neighborhood’s southern border are still available as rentals.
Fisher’s Creek itself winds through the middle of the neighborhood and Fisher’s Creek Neighborhood Park features a children’s playground and open space for picnics and outdoor gatherings.
