Wildwood Neighborhood Real Estate
Originally part of the Cascade Park Development, which began during the 1960s and 1970s, Wildwood is located just a few miles from the banks of the great Columbia River. Most of the neighborhood streets do not follow a grid system, giving this area a comfortable, traditional feel that is accentuated by the 19 acre forested park separating its residents from nearby Interstate 205.
The Wildwood neighborhood is bounded by the elegant Riveridge and Bella Vista areas and shares many of their charming characteristics, such as well tended homes and close proximity to the shopping and cultural destinations of the Vancouver’s downtown and outlying commercial districts. There are approximately 1300 residents and 400 homes within Wildwood’s borders in addition to several upscale Assisted Living communities.
Students attend nearby Riverview Elementary, Wyeast Middle School and the esteemed Mountain View High. Biddlewood Park spans 19 acres of old growth forest and provides a buffer between residents and the adjacent I-205. Wildwood Park is a small pocket of open space at the neighborhood’s southern border, and features a children’s playground, picnic tables and open lawn space for family picnics and outdoor community gatherings.
