Airport Green Neighborhood Real Estate
Located just within the Southern border of the Evergreen area, Airport Green is a small, well established neighborhood filled with attractive homes shaded by majestic old-growth Douglas fir trees.
Most of the single family homes in the Airport Green neighborhood were built in the 1980s while many of the area’s more modern duplexes and other multi-family dwellings sprang up during the construction boom of the 1990s. Between 1993 and 1999, Airport Green experienced a rapid increase in homeownership, due in part to community based improvement programs and the formation of the official Airport Green Neighborhood Association.
Hearthwood Park, Airport Green’s primary recreational amenity, covers nearly 6 acres of rolling green space and features beautiful flowering plum trees, a children’s playground, picnic tables and walking paths.
